유형 1 Question
How do people in your country get around on a daily basis? What kinds of transportation do they use — their own cars, or mostly public transit?
In my neighborhood, there are various options for public transportation. Firstly, let's talk about the subway. The subway is the most widely used mode of public transportation in Seoul. People prefer it because it helps them save a significant amount of time. Additionally, we have a well-organized bus system in our area that practically covers every destination. However, there are times when it becomes quite crowded. Lastly, taxis are commonly taken by people. Unfortunately, we don't have Uber in Korea, so it can be a bit challenging to find a taxi late at night. Nonetheless, taxis remain the most convenient form of public transportation. So, that's pretty much the overview.

2 Question
What transportation options exist where you live? Which do you usually take on weekdays, and does that change on weekends?
Well, it's not too different from other cities. I mainly use the bus, taxi, and subway. I'd say I mostly rely on the subway, not necessarily because I prefer it, but it's the quickest and most economical way to travel.
Sometimes, especially on sunny days, I opt for the bus. The cityscape is more enjoyable from the bus, and it's quite refreshing to take in the view on a sunny day.
During the weekends, I often drive my own car. With fewer people commuting to work, there's less traffic, making it enjoyable to cruise around the town.
So, my go-to modes of transportation include the bus, subway, and my own car. How about you?
- Especially / Particularly — 특히
유형 3 Question
Tell me about a recent time you took a different form of transportation than usual. Was it your first time trying it — and if so, did you enjoy the change? Roughly when was this, where were you headed, and what did you do when you arrived?
Okay, I can tell you about when I started riding my bike.
Before, I didn't really like biking because I didn't want to sweat and thought it was risky. So, I usually drove or took the bus to work. But not moving much made me gain weight. A friend told me to bike to work for exercise. So, I got a bike from a shop.
That's when I began biking to work, and in three months, I lost about 10kg. At first, it was tough, but it was worth it.
So, that's the last time I tried a different way of getting around. How about you? Have you used a different kind of public transportation before?
