You wake up feeling terrible and decide you need to see a doctor. Call the office and ask several questions to arrange a visit.

Hi, I’d like to set up an appointment. I think I have a fever. I’d like to ask you some questions.

Can I drop in now? I was going to go in the afternoon but I think my body temperature keeps rising. Can I go see the doctor now?

If the doctor isn’t available today, what is the earliest time I can see him? If he isn’t available, I think I have to go to the ER(Emergency Room).

Lastly, should I take a flu test before going to the hospital? I am afraid that I might have the flu. So, should I take a home-kit test in advance, or is there anything else I should do before visiting?

I just heard that the doctor’s office is fully booked until next week. But, you know, I have a serious headache and fever. I think I have the flu. It also seems that there are no doctors available near this area this week. So, would you be able to give me some suggestions on what to do?

As I said, I have a terrible headache and fever. Will Tylenol be fine? Or should I take any kind of medicine? The headache is killing me.

If Tylenol doesn’t work, can you tell me some types of non-prescription drugs that I can buy at a pharmacy? What does your office usually prescribe?

Also, if there is any vacancy or if somebody doesn’t show up to the appointment, would you be able to give me a call ASAP? I seriously need help. Please help me get this through.
