Tell me a few things about how recycling works in your country. When do you usually recycle, and what rules do you have to follow?

That’s a really random question….. In Korea, we recycle things in many ways. I believe it’s not that different from how people in other countries recycle to some degree. We have to ensure that we recycle in designated areas and use government-issued plastic bags. We also need to use separate food waste cards. Also, when recycling plastics, we have to remember to remove the label from plastic bottles for the sake of the environment. I think this is still not practiced well. I believe it’s everyone’s responsibility, not just mine.

Then, I handle glass and paper. Glass can break easily, so I'm careful with it. For things like paper bags or cardboard, I make sure to squash them down or make them smaller.

I recently came across a news report about recycling, and it really caught my attention.
